PRIVACY POLICY
Thank you for visiting So Cal Furnishings web site. The following Privacy Statement outlines how we collect information and what we do with the information we collect. By using So Cal Furnishings web site you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
1. ACQUISITION OF INFORMATION:
We do not acquire any more information about our customers then what is necessary to complete the purchasing process.
2. OUR EMPLOYEES AND PRIVACY: We train all of our employees about the importance of privacy. We give access to information about consumers only to those employees who require to perform their jobs.
3. SECURITY MEASURES: We make access to privacy-sensitive information subject to rigorous procedural and technological controls, consistent with legal requirements and the demands of customer service.
4. DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES: We will provide individually-identifiable information about consumers to third parties only if we are compelled to do so by order of a duly-empowered governmental authority, we have the express permission of the consumer, or it is necessary to process transactions and provide our services.
5. PRIVACY AND OUR BUSINESS PARTNERS: When we make our technology or services available to business partners, we will not share with them any more consumer information than is necessary, and we will make every reasonable effort to assure, by contract or otherwise, that they use our technology and services in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy.
EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
NOTE: ALL ORIGINAL PACKAGING MUST BE KEPT UNTIL ITEM HAS BEEN INSPECTED BY CUSTOMER. ONLY ITEMS WITH ORIGINAL PACKAGING MAY BE RETURNED FOR EXCHANGE. If original packaging is not available - no store credit or exchange will be issued by SoCal Furnishing.
By approving your final invoice, which may include providing payment for the item(s) you have ordered, you agree to accept the purchase of these items within the following terms and conditions:
You may cancel your order and receive a full refund at any time PRIOR to the start of the shipping process without occurring any restocking fees, however, if you cancel your order after the shipping process begins, a minimum of a 15% restocking fee will be applied to your store credit or the amount charged by Distributor. Immediately upon delivery, you or a designated person on your behalf, must verify that the correct items have been delivered by performing a visual inspection of the furniture packaging (Boxes, Wrapping, etc.) while the delivery person is still at the delivery location. By accepting merchandise you are stating it appears to be in satisfactory condition.
Also, if needed, you or your designated agent for delivery, will be allowed up to an additional 48 hours after the delivery, to unpack and inspect the delivered items to determine if they are in satisfactory condition. If any items are found to be visibly *damaged, take clear photos of the damaged item and EMAIL them, along with a detailed description of the damage to:

Upon receipt of the photos and description of damage, SoCal Furnishing or its designated agent will evaluate the extent and nature of the damaged item(s) and reship the exchanged or repaired item at no additional cost to you. Within 48 hours of delivery, if the delivered item(s) are undamaged, but for whatever reason you do not want to keep the item(s), please notify us by EMAIL ONLY, and we will gladly exchange or refund your purchase for store credit, however, you agree that any such refunds or exchanges will be subject to a minimum restocking fee of 15% of the purchase price (or amount charged by Distributor) and a return delivery charge equal to the initial delivery fee. Request for a return of goods for damage repair/exchange or refund for any reason whatsoever after the first 48 hours of delivery will be declined by SoCalFurnishing.com and all items purchased will be considered as FINAL, AS IS with no refund. ORIGINAL PACKAGING IS NEEDED IN ORDER TO DO A REFUND OR EXCHANGE - IF ORIGINAL PACKAGING HAS BEEN THROWN AWAY WE CANNOT RETURN/EXCHANGE THE ITEM. ONCE PACKAGING HAS BEEN THROWN AWAY YOU ARE STATING THAT YOU ACCEPT THE PRODUCT AS IS AND IT IS UNDAMAGED.
* "Damaged item" as defined within the scope of your warranty means only those items that damage is clearly visible in the photograph and as identified as located solely on the visual surface area of the item. Any minor damage such as scratches, smudges, fading,etc. found in unseen areas such as underneath or wall facing are consider as part of the normal manufacturing/delivery process and are not covered within your agreement. Additionally, any return of damaged items must be reshipped in the ORIGINAL PACKAGING MATERIAL (Box, Wrapping, etc.) that it was delivered in. Failure to do so may cause any warranties as noted above to be voided at the sole discretion of SoCalFurnishing.com.
